Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data TweetAlgorithm collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

We only collect what we need to operate the Service:

• Account data — your email address and a Supabase-issued user ID, received from Google when you sign in. We do not request your Google contacts, Drive, or any other Google data.
• Tweet text you submit — stored alongside the resulting score, breakdown, suggestions, and rewrites so you can revisit past analyses.
• Credit & transaction records — amount, type, timestamp, and (for purchases) the Polar order ID, so we can show your usage history and prevent double-charging.
• Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, and request timing for security and debugging. Logs are retained for a limited period.

We do not collect payment card details ourselves. Polar handles all card processing.

2. How we use it

• To authenticate you and protect your account.
• To run analyses you request (which involves sending your tweet text to our AI provider — see Section 3).
• To track credit balances and transaction history.
• To prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your submitted tweet text for marketing or model training.

3. Subprocessors we share with

To deliver the Service we share data with the following:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (account data, analyses, transactions).
• Vercel — application hosting and edge networking (request logs).
• Polar — payment processing and invoicing (order metadata, your email).
• DeepSeek — the AI provider that scores your tweet. Tweet text is sent to DeepSeek over a secure connection for the duration of the request.
• Google — OAuth identity provider (we receive your email and basic profile only).

Each subprocessor has its own privacy policy. We choose providers we believe handle data responsibly, but you should review their policies independently.

4. Data retention

Analyses and credit transactions are kept while your account is active. You can delete individual analyses from your dashboard. If you close your account, we will delete your profile and associated analyses within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations (for example tax records relating to purchases).

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to request a copy of the data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email support@tweetalgori.com.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in (set by Supabase). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site-tracking cookies.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
